We are having a donation drive for those affected in our Pisay community by Ondoy. We are requesting students to bring food, clothing, or any items that can help. Drop boxes will be placed either at the faculty rm. or in front of the SA room second floor SHB. For those who wish to donate money, you can give it either to me or Dr. Cristobal. Again, any form of help will be much appreciated. And FYI, the first floor of the SHB and dorms are still flooded waist deep.

A lot teachers just give their students bits of information to enhance their brains. There is nothing wrong with this, for it is the duty of the teacher. Ma'am Crisologo is unique and exceptional because she does this, plus a whole lot more. While it is obvious that she plans out our Biology lessons well, she also ensures that our Homeroom sessions help us to bond, while having a lot of fun. She goes out of her way to help us with our dilemmas (academic or not) and never fails to support us in our endeavors. Truly, we are blessed to have Ma'am as our adviser. We will always be thankful for her. :) -Mia

Nako Ma'am. I haven't exactly been the luckiest person with regards to Homeroom teachers. As in. Tanungin mo pa si Isabel (soulmates for 3 years now, haha). And yeah, grabe, you're the first one I actually like (lol) and actually feel as though you care about the class. I dunno what else to say. I'm just really thankful that you became our teacher, 'cause you've always been so thoughtful, and so helpful, and pretty much one of the best homeroom teachers I've ever had. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! for the second time around haha

Like I said, you're one of the most hardcore advisers I've had. I'm fortunate to say that I've been blessed with wonderful advisers ever since... well ever since. And I guess that "lucky with advisers" streak continues this year, thanks to you. Haha, when I first found out that you were going to be our HR adviser early that morning during the first day of classes (when a few students ambushed you while you were on the way to the bio unit), I instantly told myself "Wow, I'm sure this is going to be another superb year". And we're just half way through it, but I think it's already safe to say that it has been, and will be a great school year for Rb, and it wouldn't have been possible without you. You've been there for us every step of the way, inspiring, guiding and fighting for us. So thank you. You've been a great adviser, and so much more. Nung 1st year gusto ko na ang homeroom. Pero hindi dahil sa mga ginagawa ng buong class sa period na ito kung di dahil sa naglalaro kami sa internet. Alam naming bawal yun pero wala eh ang boring ng activities minsan pa wala ang teacher. Nung 2nd year naman wala rin lagi na lang naguusap ng tungkol sa kung anu-ano. Pero ngayong third year nagiba na. Mas astig na siya kaysa dati. Mas astig rin siya kaysa sa ibang subjects na gusto ko tulad ng Math at Chem. Dahil yun sa mga astig na ideas mo Ma'am. Thank You. Ang Bio rin pala.. gusto ko rin na subject yun last year kaso hindi naman umaalis sa 2.5 ang grade ko. Bakit kaya ngayon mas mataas na? Siguro sa teacher lang yun haha.. Thank you uli Ma'am. P.S. Napansin ko lang ang daming nagtatanong kung ano ang palanca letter. :)) Well, eto yung ‘formal’ definition: A palanca letter is one that is sent to the candidates and team, informing them of the prayers and sacrifices that you are offering to God on their behalf.

So yeah, I guess kayo na ang bahala kung ano na gusto niyo ilagay diyan. Usually, it’s supposed to be a letter of thanks, and a way to make the recipient feel appreciated. Pwede rin siguro mga apologies or other things you couldn’t really say in person. Good luck!
